Hey Derek thank you so much for this. I'll be coming back to read the comments your post started for sure on rainy days as they really took me back. I'm always so worried about video as it's not my comfort zone but your thoughtful take aways (and really great writing skills) helps me to keep at it. Much love again for this and so glad to be connected on here. Onwards - Miichael
I'm so glad they resonated! Hearing you talk through your thoughts and approach in real-time was so helpful. Your casual descriptions of complex things were easily understood and actionable. Thank you for spending your time with us and for sharing so openly!
I recently became aquatinted with Michael Thompson. I saw him in a talk and he inspired me by his storytelling information. Thank you for sharing this.
Wow, thank you Linda! That means a lot. I agree about Michael’s writing - I love that I can visualize myself as soon as he starts a story. He’s SO GOOD at it.
Mike is really such a great addition to the whole Substack community. I muttered it during his chat, that he's very easy to relate to. When others started agreeing, I started to feel less special... curse him (or them for agreeing.)
Thanks for bringing back your key takeaways, I'm shit at taking notes and you managed to capture some great insights!
Agreed! We need more Mikes. He does a fantastic job of making people feel seen just by being himself. Glad the notes were helpful, too. Writing helps me think so putting this together was a helpful way to process all the great knowledge he shared.
Oh gosh, I've been having a hard time with this question hahaaa. I think just to watch the ease in which he was able to insert story into the conversation (even at almost midnight!). So many stand out parts!

You’re welcome, Linda! Michael has such a captivating storytelling style. I’m challenging myself to learn from what he shared
I enjoyed the points you shared. I also want to learn. It feels so real as I read his stuff. I liked your writing style too.

Was such a great session! Feel like I’m still reaping the benefits!
Right?! So good. Was there a part that stood out most to you?

Wholeheartedly agree! I loved watching him walk through his storytelling puzzle pieces in real-time. Fascinating
